What this site collects, what it does not collect, and why.
This site is built as a thinking and research surface, not a data-collection or marketing surface. The intent is to keep the technical apparatus minimal and the privacy posture as restrained as the editorial register.
What is not collected
- No cookies are set by this site.
- No personal information is collected from readers. There are no contact forms, no newsletter signup, no email-gated downloads.
- No third-party advertising, analytics or tracking scripts are loaded.
What is logged
Like any web service, hosting infrastructure (Cloudflare) records standard request data — IP address, browser user-agent, the URL requested, the referring page — for operational purposes such as serving content, defending against abuse and producing aggregate traffic statistics. This data is not used to build profiles of individual readers and is retained according to Cloudflare’s standard retention policies.
When publications hosted on this site are accessed, the request is logged the same way. In a forthcoming iteration, downloads of working papers and policy responses will additionally carry an optional ?ref=... token in the URL, used to attribute referrals from specific channels (LinkedIn posts, newsletters, direct shares). These tokens are minted on the publisher side; readers never enter them and never see a dialog. No cookies are set. No personal data is collected from the reader through this mechanism.
